Richard Young

Associate

Richard advises insurers regarding cybersecurity, technology, media, and privacy, as well as professional liability matters. During law school, Richard was a member of the Honors Society, served as Senior Production Editor of the UC Law Journal, and competed on the Moot Court team. In his third year, he published a note in the UC Law Journal analyzing the impacts of the 2023 SEC amendments to beneficial ownership reporting on shareholder activism. Outside of work, Richard enjoys running, playing guitar, and supporting the Golden State Warriors and Valkyries. Richard received his J.D. (cum laude) from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, and his B.A. in Philosophy with a minor in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. During the Summer of 2024, Richard worked with the firm as a summer associate.
