Nick Lieberknecht counsels insurers on professional liability policies issued to design professionals. His global practice regularly involves complex matters with exposures exceeding $1 billion, and he frequently represents insurers — and sometimes entire insurance towers — in all aspects of coverage, including evaluating coverage, conducting risk and liability analysis of the underlying dispute, and negotiating settlements. Nick values the challenge of solving complex problems for his clients and their insureds and appreciates working with the collaborative team at Atheria. He earned his J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 2007 and his B.A.s from the University of California, San Diego. He is admitted to the State Bar of California and is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS).
