Maria represents insurers on matters involving intellectual property, cybersecurity, technology, media and privacy. While in law school, Maria served as a Student Associate in the Entrepreneurs’ Law Clinic, counseling startups on intellectual property and corporate issues such as privacy policies, trademark clearance, and copyright protection. She also held multiple leadership roles and was honored with the Dean’s Leadership Award for her service to the law school community. Outside of work, Maria enjoys baking, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. Maria received her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she earned a High-Tech Law Certificate in Intellectual Property, and her B.S. from the University of Florida. She is admitted to practice law in Florida and California and speaks Spanish fluently.
