She has overseen thousands of data breach incidents, ranging from individual claims to some of the largest healthcare, retail, hospitality, education, and government breaches ever reported. Joan also advises insurers and their policyholders on professional liability matters. A passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, Joan is a co-founder and President of Atheria, building the firm on a foundation of teamwork, innovation, and a strong culture of inclusion alongside colleagues she has worked with for decades.
