Jeffrey Leight advises domestic and international insurers on cybersecurity incidents and related regulatory investigations and litigation, including data breaches, cyber extortion, electronic fraud, and privacy class actions. He has worked with government agencies, educational institutions, and companies across industries such as manufacturing, technology, food and beverage, media, and healthcare to address complex privacy and cyber liability issues. As lead coverage counsel on hundreds of data breach and privacy matters, Jeffrey has managed and resolved significant incidents impacting hundreds of thousands of individuals worldwide. He earned his J.D. from Southwestern Law School in 2013 and his B.S. from California Baptist University. Jeffrey is admitted to the State Bar of California. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, and he is an avid outdoors enthusiast who especially enjoys backpacking and alpine fishing.
