Based in Atheria’s London office, Amelia Jones provides coverage advice to insurers on cybersecurity, privacy, media, and technology matters. She has particular experience with first- and third-party coverage of privacy incidents, including ransomware and cyber extortion, business interruption claims, and litigation and regulatory proceedings following data breaches. Amelia earned her LL.B., First Class Honours, from the University of Aberdeen and qualified in Scots Law. She later completed the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme (QLTS) in 2021 to qualify as a solicitor in England and Wales. She is also the author of Beyond First Party Costs: Third Party Exposures Resulting from Personal Data Breaches (2025). Outside of work, Amelia enjoys dinghy sailing, reformer Pilates, running, and exploring London’s rooftop bars.
