Atheria Law Promotes EJ Kim to Partner

Atheria Law is pleased to announce that EJ Kim has been elevated to Partner in the firm’s Technology, Media & Privacy practice, effective February 1, 2023.

“EJ’s hard work and dedication to our clients has culminated in a well-deserved promotion to partnership," said Christina Terplan, founding partner and president of Atheria Law. “She is a true asset to our firm, and we look forward to what she will accomplish as our newest partner.”

EJ has worked with the team since 2015, focusing her practice on providing advice to insurers regarding cyber and data breaches and resulting privacy class action lawsuits and regulatory investigations. Based in San Francisco, EJ also represents insurers in connection with a broad range of insurance coverage issues, litigation management, consumer privacy actions, regulatory investigations and lawsuits concerning technology services and media liability. EJ is a seasoned litigator, with significant experience defending clients in complex insurance coverage disputes, class actions, and commercial business litigation.

EJ received her J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly known as UC Hastings) and her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
